The Botany Early Childhood Manual provides illustrated presentations that introduce the Montessori botany curriculum to children ages three to six. The manual provides background information on child development, guidance for working with plants, experiments, and a complete study of the parts of plants: while, root, stem, leaves, flower, fruit, and seed. It also contains nomenclature definitions, and charts. A Montessori classroom and a living environment should be rich in botanical specimens.
